Coldplay and Take That to Play at 2009 BRIT Awards

Coldplay and Take That have been added to the list of performers at the 2009 BRIT Awards, joining the likes of U2 and Kings Of Leon who will also play on the night.

Both bands have been nominated in the British Group category, one of four that Coldplay are up for at the event.

Duffy, Girls Aloud and Pet Shop Boys will also perform live at the ceremony, which will take place at Earl’s Court in London on February 18. It will be hosted by Kylie Minogue, James Corden and Mathew Horne.
