Scientists Create Image of Jim Morrison for Today

Scientists have created an image showing what The Doors' singer Jim Morrison would have looked like if he were still alive today.

Morrison died at the age of 27, after suffering a heart attack in Paris on July 3 1971. He would have turned 65-years-old today (December 8).

Researchers at St Andrews University used computer 'ageing' software to reproduce an image of Morrison as a 65-year-old, showing changes in his skin, hairline and hair-colour, reports BBC

The scientists have previously reproduced similar images of John Lennon, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley.

As previously reported, The Doors' Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger are to celebrate Morrison's 65th birthday at Barney's Beanery - one of the singer's famed Los Angeles hangouts
