The Rumble Strips Reveal New Album Collaborator

The Rumble Strips have revealed that the band had teamed up with Arcade Fire and The Last Shadow Puppets collaborator Owen Pallett on their forthcoming new album.

Pallett, aka Final Fantasy, worked with the band and producer Mark Ronson to add orchestral arrangements to the as-yet untitled album, which is now almost complete.

Pallet said he has high hopes for the record, which he compares to The La's' eponymous 1990 debut.

"The album is the most infectious record I've ever worked on," he enthused. "It reminds me a bit of The La's."

Pallet added that sessions for the album had been "easy".
